Here are answers to the most common questions about the Bald Eagle Bash, but if you have other queries, just give us a call at 251-990-5004.
Where is the Bash? – The Bald Eagle Bash is held at the Tonsmeire Weeks Bay Resource Center. Parking is limited under the bridge, so please park at the South Alabama Land Trust office, across from the Weeks Bay Reserve. Free shuttles will be provided from there.
How much does it cost? – Tickets are $50. As tickets will be limited this year to allow for social distancing, we will not be selling tickets at the gate. Entry is free for children 10 and under.
Is it family friendly? – Of course! This event is open to folks of all ages and is sure to have something for everyone, from classic fried shrimp to shrimp bisque to shrimp ceviche.
What can I bring into the event? – Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets, although seating will be provided. Feel free to bring cameras and even your binoculars, if you want to do a little bird watching. Please leave your furry or feathered friends at home, unless they are a designated service animal.
Will there be alcohol? – We will be serving beer and wine, but you must present a valid ID in order to receive a drinks’ wristband. (All event goers under 21 will receive a different colored wrist band.) All beverages and food are included in the price of the ticket.
